L’Authentification Forte du Client (AFC) est une exigence de PSD2 pour les services de paiement dans l’espace économique européen. Cette directive garantit que les paiements électroniques sont effectués avec une authentification multiple, afin d’accroître la sécurité des paiements électroniques.
Qu’est-ce que cela signifie?
Nous avons apporté des modifications à Ebury Online (EBO) afin que la double authentification devienne obligatoire lors de la connexion et de la création d’un paiement.
Modification de la connexion à Ebury Online
Lors de la connexion à Ebury Online, vous aurez la possibilité de définir votre méthode d’authentification, par SMS sur votre numéro de téléphone ou via une application d’authentification (par exemple, Google Authenticator, Authy). Vous serez obligé d’activer la double authentification en utilisant l’une de ces méthodes avant de pouvoir accéder à votre compte.
Lorsque vous vous connecterez à Ebury Online, vous devrez entrer le code de double authentification que vous aurez reçu par SMS ou par l’application d’authentification. Une fois connecté à Ebury Online, vous aurez la possibilité de ne plus exiger de code de double authentification pour les prochaines connexion et ce pour une durée de 30 jours.
Modification de vos paiements sur Ebury Online
Lors de la création d’un paiement sur Ebury Online, vous serez invité à configurer la double authentification pour les paiements. Si vous avez déjà activé les SMS comme méthode d’authentification pour vous connecter à Ebury Online, vous n’aurez pas besoin de passer par le processus de configuration pour les paiements. Ebury utilisera le numéro de téléphone déjà configuré pour la double authentification lors de la connexion.
Lors de l’instruction d’un paiement, vous recevrez un code par SMS contenant les détails masqués de votre paiement. Ce code est un mot de passe à usage unique spécifique au paiement que vous créez. Cela améliore considérablement la sécurité, car il est difficile pour les fraudeurs de reproduire un code de double authentification valide.
